Last week, a new paper of mine was published online first in the Review of International Political Economy. ‘State capital in a geoeconomic world: mapping state-led foreign investment in the global political economy’ is open access and available here.
The paper aims to advance our understanding of the consequences of the rise of states as global owners for international politics. I contribute conceptual, methodological, and empirical insights to this question.
This Twitter thread explains the main argument of the article in a condensed form.
The article has been trending according to OOIR last week and also featured as favorite new open-access paper at The Syllabus.
As always, questions and comments are more than welcome: here.
